These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the PhoneSmith website and the repair services we provide. By placing an order or booking a repair with us, you agree to these terms.

About us

PhoneSmith is a trading name of Ifonezone Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15881584, with its registered office at 45 Clevedon Gardens, TW5 9TT. Our repair services operate from 130 Stanford Road, Luton, LU2 0QA, which is also our contact address for devices and correspondence.

Our services

We provide repairs for mobile phones, tablets and related devices. We offer the following service options at checkout:

• We Come to You: our technician travels to an agreed location to carry out the repair, usually completed on the spot in 30 to 60 minutes. Payment is taken on completion.
• Mail-In: you post your device to us. Once received, most repairs are completed within 24 to 48 hours and returned to you by tracked delivery.

Bookings and pricing

All prices are shown on the website in GBP (£). We aim to keep pricing accurate, but prices and availability may change. If a repair turns out to need additional work or parts beyond what was booked, we will contact you for approval before proceeding. You will never be charged more than the agreed price without your consent.

Payment

Payment is taken securely through our payment provider, or on completion for our “We Come to You” service as agreed. We do not store your full card details.

If a repair cannot be completed

If we are unable to complete your repair, you will not be charged for that repair. Where payment has already been taken, it will be refunded.

Your device and data

You are responsible for backing up your own data before a repair. We take care with every device, but we are not responsible for any loss of data that may occur during a repair. Please remove any SIM or memory cards before handing over or posting your device.

Liability

We carry out all repairs with reasonable skill and care. Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair carried out. We are not liable for pre-existing faults, or for damage caused by previous repairs, misuse, or liquid/physical damage. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
